Description: The U.S. A-Team represents the United States each year in Europe at The World Hydroplane Championship. In 2017 we captured the Bronze Medal in Traben Germany. The South Shore Outboard Association is a grass roots outboard racing club dedicated to growing the sport of powerboat racing through our Junior Class (ages 9-15) as well as our racing school which is held in Maine each spring. Stop by our booth to sign up for our driving school or to check out our World Championship Medal and kneel in a racing hydro.
June 16 2022 Update: With heavy hearts, Phin and I have concluded that we are overwhelmed by the continuing impediments that confront a successful effort and are resigned to join the numerous other efforts that have thrown their hands up. For this reason, the 2022 Maine Boatbuilders Show is officially cancelled.
