Description: MRS has recently expanded operations at our Cape Cod location, and is proud to offer services from our boatbuilding, sparmaking and wooden flagpole divisions. At the heart of our operation is boatbuilding, where we build, restore and customize wood and fiberglass boats. Traditional craftsmanship meets modern technology in our shop, where we provide expert boatbuilding design, construction and restoration services. Production boats include 14'Classic Cat, 12'Rainbow and 18'Baybird sloop. MRS has also developed a reputation for premier sparmaking, specializing in hollow spar designs to 56'. Our much sought after wood flagpole designs are thoughtfully constructed, carefully handturned and beautifully tapered. These 15-35'poles, fabricated with the same care and craftsmanship as our marine spars, are shipped round the world. Stop by and see our 14'Classic Cat, sample spars and boat parts!
June 16 2022 Update: With heavy hearts, Phin and I have concluded that we are overwhelmed by the continuing impediments that confront a successful effort and are resigned to join the numerous other efforts that have thrown their hands up. For this reason, the 2022 Maine Boatbuilders Show is officially cancelled.
